Previously, a dynamic model and simulation program for series wound DC motors (SWDCM) were developed in MATLAB/Simulink modelling them electric vehicles mechatronic systems. The electromagnetic characteristics of the motor (electric resistances, inductances), which serve as input parameters program, also measured. Additionally, locked rotor response measurements performed to test accuracy measured characteristics.
